Dr. Max Sulla is a gentle, caring pediatric dentist who uses the most advanced materials and procedures available. He practices comfortable, health-centered dentistry with a strong emphasis on getting to know each of his patients. In addition to his technical proficiency, Dr. Max is a careful listener and will explain beforehand what treatment is best for your individual needs.
Dr.Max Sulla received his D.D.S. from the NYU College of Dentistry followed by his Pediatric Dentistry degree at the University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey. He is a member of multiple accredited organizations. Dr. Max is the President of NJ Academy of Pediatric Dentistry & AAPD Council member.
Additionally, Dr. Max and his associates were recognized as three of the "Top Dentists of 2009 and 2010" by New Jersey Monthly.

Dr. Martin Halofsky received his dental degree from New York University. He was in general practice for nine years and then returned to school for additional training. Dr. Halofsky opened this pediatric dental practice in 1980 after completing a residency at St. Christopher's Hospital for Children where he was Chief Resident. He prides himself on treating all children, including those with special needs, with empathy and care.
Dr. Halofsky became an associate of Dr. Sulla in 2006. He is currently on staff at Robert Wood Johnson and St Peter's Hospital in New Brunswick where he is an active member of the Crainiofacial Team. As a team member he helps to provide care to the newborn and young children with cleft palate and other facial anomalies. He also has lectured extensively and provided in- service training at both hospitals.
Dr. Halofsky is a member of the American Dental Society, the Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the New Jersey Dental Association, and the New Jersey Academy of Pediatric Dentists. He has received the New York State Regents Scholarship for undergraduate studies as well as the Regents Scholarship for Dentistry. He has been selected as one of New Jerseys Top Dentists in 2008, 2009 and 2010 as judged by his peers. His interests outside of dentistry include reading, biking, hiking and camping.
Dr. Chan's career has focused exclusively on developing excellent clinical skills and providing personalized care in a private practice setting. She earned her dental degree from the University of Pennsylvania, School of Dental Medicine. She was honored by receiving the International Dental Award, which is given to one international student for academic and clinical excellence. Dr. Chan completed her Orthodontic Residency at Temple University, earning a Master of Science in Dentistry as well as a certificate of specialization in orthodontics. During her years in training she has held positions of teaching assistant in the Department of Restorative Dentistry at the University of Pennsylvania and the Department of Orthodontics at Temple University.
Prior to her education in the United States, Dr. Chan received her Bachelor of Medicine in Dentistry from the Taipai Medical College School of Dentistry. She completed a general practice residency at the Cathay General Hospital in Taiwan. During her general practice residency, Dr. Chan held the position of instructor and mentor to junior residents and interns. Having spent time as a general dentist, Dr. Chan has a keen incite into the needs and concerns of referring doctors and their patients.
In order to increase her experience and broaden her knowledge base, Dr. Chan participated in the cleft palate program at St. Peter's Medical Center in New Brunswick from 1992 to 1998. At this prestigious hospital program, treatment is provided to children born with craniofacial abnormalities. Dr. Chan has completed an impressive number of continuing education hours in orthodontics, temporomandibular joint disorders, orthognathic surgery, interdisciplinary dentistry and practice management. She is trained and certified in the use of Invisalign, a computer generated orthodontic treatment modality.
Having spent many years obtaining extensive training and clinical expertise in orthodontics, Dr. Chan delivers care with great skill, competence and consistency. She has been in private practice in East Brunswick, New Jersey since 1991. Her satellite practice is in Martinsville, New Jersey. Dr. Chan is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the Middlesex County Dental Society and the American Dental Association.
As a board certified orthodontist, Dr. Chan is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics - a distinct honor held by only approximately 25% of all practicing orthodontic specialists. The American Board of Orthondontics is the only certifying board recognized by the Council on Dental Education of the American Dental Association for the specialty of orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics.
Dr. John Butler, has joined our team of health care professionals. He received his Bachelors degree in Psychology from Rutgers University. He earned his Doctorate of Dental Medicine Degree, graduating Magna Cum Laude, from Temple University School of Dentistry in Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Butler completed a residency in orthodontics at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. He is affiliated with the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, and the Middlesex County Dental Society. Dr. Butler loves treating children, teens, and adults. When not treating patients, he enjoys listening to music, watching movies, and spending time with friends and family. He has been recognized as one of America's Top Dentists in 2009 and 2010.
Dr. Liya Ostrow earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Urban Politics from Hunter College in NY. She is a graduate of The University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, were she earned her Doctorate of Medicinal Dentistry(D.M.D). Dr. Ostrow then attended Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY, where she was Chief Resident of the Pediatric Dentistry Program and received her certification as a Pediatric Dentist.
Dr. Ostrow, a board certified of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, is an active member in several organized dental associations including the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association,and New Jersey Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr.Ostrow lives in Morganville, NJ with her husband Vlady and three year old son Julian. She enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.
